B'riah: Transformation

riah Transformation We transition to the world of Briah, of ongoing creation and transformations, of constant Big Bangs with the half Kaddish, the Barkhu, and dissolve and reform through the Sh'ma and Mi Kamokha. Section 7 Briah is often called the world of "creation" as the emanations of Atzilut are transformed into creations (self-Conscious and ignorant of their true source) at this point. Since these energies existed before in another, less self-conscious mode, I have called this state, "transformation," and that is what I believe its function to be in the service, as it takes us through the half Kaddish, Barekhu, Kedushah, Ahavah, andSh'ma.
