(to be sung to the tune of L'kha Dodi) The sound of calm in rushing thoughts, can be heard When we hear -shh! -"One"! The Still of "One", always calms the rush, of the churning mix which came from "One". To meet the mind's witness come let us go, The witness watches the rushing flow, No-tic-ing the churning thoughts, ends the restless, rushing flow. A tranquil moment, a moment of release, Arises, releives from suffering disease. Long have you dwelt in week-adikeh mind. Spirit of Shabbat unbinds your bind. Shake off the cramps so you can dance Guard carefully self - acceptance. The poet - being inside of me urges me To be free. Awake awake, Shabbos spirit awake! A guest has arrived, Look up- and see! Arouse arouse your heart and voice. Remembering God, Remembering God. No more stress! No more sting! Why regress? Why not sing? All my struggles Become much less when sharing Shabbos consciousness. Non-Shabbos-dikeh thinking now is subdued, fears of loss far, far away. Our spirit takes pleasure in simple quiet mood Enjoying exhilarating play. Spread your vision East and West. Worship the Source of consciousness. Within our heart Meshiakh is coming. Moving us to shout and to sing. Welcome to the peace Of the mind of God Gently excited in shared abode, Shabbos-Dikeh Mind is a treasure motherlode. Welcome, Presence, Welcome, inside.
