This idea fits a pluralistic view of Judaism. THE WORK OF EACH DA VVENEN SECTION Atzilut is the peak of Davvenen where we ask the Highest Light to open our mouths and say the prayers for us. B'riah is the singular moment of oneness illumination which melts all boundaries. In this place we cannot speak or channel the Divine. We are not there. Yetzirah is the world of doubles, of mirrors - everything has a valence of good or negative. Assiyah includes also the magical energies which heal us and affect us on subtle levels. DA VVENEN THROUGH THE WORLD OF YE1ZIRAH: WEEKDAYS On Shabbat the Yetzirah section is much more expanded. The past, present and future inherent in the Tetragrarnrnaton echoes the prayer "Yah Melekh, Yah Malakh, Yah Yim'lokh, L'olam Va-ed" which follows the Hodu and precedes Barukh Sheh'amar. See commentary immediately above. I've always wanted to insert some Halleluyah into the Meta-Siddur. Rabbi Heschel's quote comes from a piece given me by Rabbi Arthur Waskow in celebration of the 25th year of Rabbi Hesch el' s Yahrzeit. THE PLACE OF THE TORAH SERVICE Bringing the Light of Atzilut Down into B 'riah The Torah service, corning as it does after the Arnida, is intended to bring the Amida Experience into integration. THE PLACE OF HALLELUYAH IN THE PESUKEI Rabbi Heschel' s words echo the Hassidic interpretation of the importance of the Pesukei D 'Zimra section. THE PLACE OF THE MUSAF SERVICE Echoing the Divine Response to Our Worship ..... 60.902 After the Torah service, there is an instant of Divine recognition of our worship. The Musaf catches this and responds to God's response. Thank you. You're welcome. TO WORSHIP IS TO JOIN THE COSMOS .......99.4 Science is a wonderful commentary to the Psalms, don't you agree? DAVVENEN THROUGH THE WORLD OF YE1ZIRAH: SHABBAT A Psycho-Spiritual Davvenen Map ................. This image visibilizes the World of Yetzirah as it is represented in our prayer cycle. The sub-titles I have added are my current guesses at the energy of each piece. I welcome your fine-tuning. Ultimately, it would be great if the steps are indeed steps of consciousness that we can understand, rather than as they appear here, not quite sequentially. YIT'GADAL - EXPANDING HOLINESS ........ 134.3 Yit' gadal is not just a praise but a description of the state of the universe. How can we throw things, emotions, mistakes, away? We can at least practice throwing out our rigidity and bringing closer the day we are no longer angry, no longer afraid.
