Kabbel and Kavven, Receive Inward and Direct Outward. seems to me a very essential breathing-like pulse. Inasmuch as these two words are the imperatives of Kabba/ah and Kavvanah, the two central terms in Meta-Davvenen, I thought that an enlargement of these terms would make an interesting page. On one hand, Kavvanah is used to indicate an increase in subjectivity, and so represents a turning more inwards; ·on the other hand Kavvanah directs one's attention in an outward way, turning away from one's receptive self.
