The Omer Counting of Life

The Omer Counting of Life Every seven years we are influenced by a differing set of developmental needs, from a characterological and also a soul perspective. Although it is impossible to assume that everyone undergoes the same changes at the same times, some general patterns seem to emerge which are worth noting, expecting, and thus enabling us to prepare for, and, if necessary, endure. Start by noting your birth year in the line opposite zero (0-1), and continue until your present age. Note in the promded boxes the turning points and stepping-stones of your life. Notice correspondences witl¥·the changing Sefirot qualities. For especially important years you may want to note the Sefirah within the Sefirah and then look up the related Torah portion (see page 121) to discover whether there are any obvious relationships between the stories or laws mentioned in the Torah, and the unfolding measure of your life.
