Reb David’s note

comes out of a sense of stale-ness about the terms with which we describe the Sefirot. The definitions of the Sefirot are difficult as they have to describe both a Divine and human quality at the same time. (I think that page 44 does this well, by the way.) While I realize this ain't easy, I am impatient with terms such as glory, victory, even understanding in that such terms don't project a quality that is interesting or provocative to me. These terms mentioned here, do.
